Step aboard the 158-foot long Clipper City and be transported into a world of smooth jazz and breathtaking views. Whether you’re exploring the deck, assisting our crew in hoisting the sails, or simply reclining with a cocktail in hand, the live jazz band’s melodies will set the perfect mood for your evening.

Our intrepid sailors, a mix of multidisciplinary artists, skilled craftspeople, and seasoned seafarers, are not only adept at navigating the waters but also at ensuring you have a memorable experience. As the sun dips behind the Statue of Liberty, the NYC Harbor comes alive with the golden hues of sunset, closely passing landmarks like Ellis Island, Governors Island, and the stunning NJ and NY skylines and bridges.

There’s nothing quite as romantic as a sunset jazz sail. Whether you’re nestled comfortably with a cocktail or wandering the deck to soak in views from various angles, the enchanting notes of jazz will accompany your every move.

A full cocktail bar and snacks are available for purchase. Immerse yourself in the magic of the evening, sipping on your favorite drink and witnessing New York City in a light you’ve never imagined.

Advance Sail Reservation

1. Reserve Your Sail in Advance
   • Select your preferred departure date and enter your credit card details to pre-reserve a spot.
   • Your card will not be charged until your reservation is confirmed.
2. Confirmation & Payment (2 Weeks Before Departure)
   • When your sail date opens, MBS will confirm your reservation and charge the card on file.
   • You will receive a confirmation email once your booking is finalized.
3. Alternative Date Options (If Needed)
   • If your selected date is unavailable, we will reach out with alternative options.
   • Your card will only be charged if you approve a new date.
4. Using Gift Cards or Future Sailing Credits
   • If you plan to use a Gift Card or Future Sailing Credit, it must be redeemed when your sail date is confirmed.
5. Book Early for the Best Availability
   • Reservations are first-come, first-served—pre-reserve early to increase your chances of securing your preferred date!

Sunset Jazz Sail Cost Breakdown: Live Jazz Band + 1Hr 45 Min Evening Sail

• Sunset Jazz Sail Experience (Groups 1-4 people Ages 13+) $112
• Sunset Jazz Sail Experience (Groups 5-15 people Ages 13+) $107
• Sunset Jazz Sail Child (Ages 5-12) $45
• Infant Toddler (Ages 0-4) Free

Option (recommended) Add-On:

• By purchasing the Sail Cancellation Protection, you reserve the option to cancel your reservation and transfer your tickets to a Future Sailing Credit (FSC), reschedule or receive a refund. Cancellations must be submitted via email to reservations@manhattanbysail.com (no texts or calls) no later than 2 hours prior to your departure time. 75% of funds, minus the cancellation protection taxes and booking fees, will be transferable or refundable. Once the 2-hour window has expired, booking is subject to MBS cancellation / rescheduling policy MBS policy.
