Embark on a unique Halloween experience like no other. Since 2016, The Gothic Vampire Cruise has been transforming the Hudson River into a portal to the past, transporting guests back to the year 1897.

Set sail aboard the historic, pre-civil war era style Clipper City and get entangled in an epic, immersive plot between good and evil. As the sails catch the wind and the Manhattan skyline fades into the night, you’ll be surrounded by mesmerizing dancers, captivating artists, and dark, atmospheric tunes.

Mingle with creatures of the night, enjoy intoxicating spirits from our full bar, and become part of the story. Costumes are highly encouraged—dust off your finest Victorian, Gothic, or dark Halloween attire for a night of elegance and fright on the water!


3. What’s Included / Not Included

 

What’s Included:

  • A 2-3 hour moonlit sail aboard the historic Clipper City.

  • Full access to the immersive, interactive Gothic Vampire theatrical experience.

  • Live entertainment, including dancers and dark tunes.

  • Unbeatable nighttime views of the NYC skyline and Statue of Liberty.


What’s Not Included (But Available):

  • Drinks: “Intoxicating spirits,” wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at our onboard bar. (Credit/Debit cards preferred).


4. What to Bring

  • Your Finest Attire: Victorian, Gothic, or your favorite dark Halloween costumes are highly encouraged!

  • A Warm Layer: It gets noticeably chillier out on the water at night. A cloak, jacket, or wrap is recommended.

  • Sensible Footwear: Soft-soled shoes (like sneakers or flats) are best for navigating the wooden deck. Please, no stilettos or high heels.

  • Valid ID: Please bring a government-issued photo ID for check-in and bar service.

5. Know Before You Go

 

  • Arrival Time: You must arrive at the dock at least 30 minutes prior to departure. The ship departs exactly on time and cannot wait for latecomers.

  • Weather: This event sails rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the Captain will make a safety call and you will be notified immediately.
